Tom Jones returned to Glastonbury for a nostalgia-packed show on the Pyramid Stage on June 28, 2009. Now a veteran of the festival having first played in 1992, the Welsh soul legend greeted the audience as old friends, declaring: “We love you Glastonbury, God bless you.” Backed by a full house band, Jones delivered a funked-up set of old favourites like Delilah and It’s Not Unusual for Sunday afternoon’s now-legendary heritage slot. The show is heavy on the singer’s trademark cover versions ‘Kiss’ and ‘Sex Bomb, but he had one more surprise up his sleeve, encoring with a cover of ‘Unbelievable’ by ’90s electro-rockers EMF.

PARTY AT THE PALACE (2002)

An audience of 12,000 ticket holders celebrated the Queen's Jubilee with this rock concert held in the grounds of Buckingham Palace. The proceedings opened with the now infamous guitar solo from former Queen band-member Brian May, on his home-made guitar. Tom Jones sings Sex Bomb solo & You Can Leave Your Hat On together with Blue. He also participates on All You Need Is Love & Hey Jude with the rest of the performers.
